extreme makeover

This is the meat of the trip- the inside of the house that needs the most of the men's attention.

We are fortunate to have a lot of folks here on "the compound" with this week- another God-orchestrated event that we had no idea would work out so perfectly.  Nick and Leslie, the missionaries with CHIEF, and their two children, Matt and Olivia are up from Phoenix while their children are on fall break, plus natives Gibson and his wife Emilene who now reside here (and who will be moving into the house once renovated) and Edison and Kay, Hopi relatives of Gib and Em.  What a wonderful experience to live, eat and breathe with these fellow believers and be a part of their environment and world for a week.

We need not go far to be in another world, to be in another circumstance so far removed from our own.  So valuable to be able to give of our time and talents and work alongside those who desire to see many come to know the Lord through the ministry here.

  1. Praying for you all. Keep up the great work updating this blog...it's a great window into some of the work you are doing for the Hopi people.
